Cheap Accommodation Around Sukhumvit 39?

Featured Replies

Can anyone advise if there are studio rooms for my Thai staff in the area around Sukhumvit soi 39? Preferably on this side of Sukhumvit in the 5,000-6,000 baht range.

Cheers

That side of the street might be tough at that price point but I know there are some places at the very end of Soi 22 that might suit your needs. Sorry, don't remember the names of the places.

lol?

look at the sois at the bottom of suk 49, and probably other suks aswell, you can find unfurnished rooms w bathroom for 2k baht.

5-6k shouldn't be much of a problem. But you do have to spend some time looking for them as ofcourse most agents go for the richer pickings, hence the perception of high rent in bkk, in reality the rent isn't high, but the markup is.

You want to try across the road on the even numbered sois, usually chepaer over there. But best bet is to get to that area and do some leg work to find a decent place.
