I am in the market for a Toyota Vigo 4x4 smart cab. The window sticker says 774,000. I am curious what people have actually been paying for these. And where?? Will the price go down as the year is comming to a end?? Hmmm?? What did you pay??

I would suggest that since its a new model, there will be no chance of price reductions in the near future. Thai's don't seem to discount anything,they just give away loads of tacky plastic 'gizmo's' within the original price IMHO

Normally the end of model cycle will see some discounting. And if they are overstocked and the factory is offering rebates if they take more stock. In the dealership where I worked many years ago the sticker price magically increased just before the xmas sale period so the discounts offered where due to the price padding. Amazing how it never failed to work!

In the real world where sales staff get commissions on a sliding scale the 24th till the last trading day of the month are good times to do a deal. Sadly that isn't much help in LOS.

Your best bet is to get friendly with a saleperson and pop in each week for a chat. They will either get sick of you and do a deal to get rid of you or get friendly and tell you when a good deal can be had! Just don't settle for a lot of overpriced accessories that can be bought elsewhere for a lot less! Cheers

I was offered the outgoing Vigo model year for 50K less (ExtraCab), but would imagine they are all cleared out by now. Decided to buy the new 4x4 SmartCab at sticker as they wouldn't budge on price, but did get half a dozen options and 1st class insurance thrown in. Nice vehicle, though wish they offered an auto tranny. Another option is unless you are set on Toyota is the Ranger gets you more truck for the buck.

I am wondering why a lot of new Vigo's are smoking,when I did ask toyota when they where having there Vigoshow the salesman told me they where working on that.

But maybe it is that people are using cheap fuel because of the dieselprice,normally a D 4 D is not suppose to smoke when driving.But otherwise its a very nice car and after service is very good at toyota.
