Hi IsaanAussie, I mentioned in a couple of forums last week the cars 'n' utes from Thailand will take a big hit once the current stock is finished. I am predicting the price hike will be mid January 2009.

A basic Triton with drop side tray on the road around $20,000 drive away now isn't going to fly at $28K. At that price people will go for Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore utes which will be in the same price range and have better interiors and they drive and ride like a car.

Those factory carparks are gunna be full of imported utes if they don't cancel orders!
