Not sure if this is the best place to start but as the home is in Buriram thought I would try!

When we go back to Thailand this year we are painting my wifes home, inside the home. It is a home just with one fairly big room and one smaller room. I think it will require around 5 litres of paint in total at the most to do 2 coats. I was just wondering if anyone knows how much I should be paying for a 1 or 2 litre pot of decent paint in some kind of colour (this has yet to be decided!)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Interior paint, very good quality, Beger or Dulux, less than a thousand Baht for 5 litres. A 25 litre can retails at around 1000 Baht. However, the roller and paintbrush may cost more than the paint!

Look also if they have more gallons from the same tint in stock!!! I painted my house and needed one more gallon but they no longer had the same tint. But -with a big smile- they offered me another color...........same same but different.

If you have a Jotun Color Center in your area (you can find one for instance on the road Udon-Thani -> Nong Khai, at approximately 12 kilometers from Udon Thani, on the left side of the road), you can select your exact tint (among hundreds of samples) and they will be able to give you as much gallons as you need of your favorite color, anytime. Their paints are probabably a little bit dearer than other brands, but they really are high quality products.
