Do you want to keep all the sweat in your shoes? Rot your feet? Not allow them to breathe while exercising?

Seems a very bad idea to me, although my old rugby boots were fairly waterproof, and so are my safety boots. But both worn with a double thickness of socks.

also had waterproof hiking boots made by lowa i think

would love to find them in pattaya or bangkok if not available in pat

not sure who is making sneakers with the gortex brand, but you might try that sports store in the Outlet Mall on Suk/Tepp. they do carry all the Nort Face gortex stuff and they do carry a very large variety of North Face sneakers/shoes. give it a shot, but report back to us.

I dry my feet, change my shoes and socks, no problem.

I was walking past 'The Avenue' shopping complex on Pattaya 2nd Road today and they had a marquee up outside selling running shoes at bargain prices. Check it out, there was everything available.
