It seems to be available everywhere now. I saw G10 last week at Emporium too.

Between G10 and Panasonic LX3, I'd go for LX3 too even with its limited zoom range.

The price in Thailand is not all that much higher considering it means you have a Canon warranty valid for Thailand. I've been burned too many times buying devices abroad and then being told the warranty isn't valid here. So now I tend to buy local -- since then have had no warranty problems.
