Hmmmm just maybe this will help to put to rest that us Stokies are not just a bunch of thugs as many opposing supporters claim. I do not deny that we used to have a very sizeable and active hooligan element in the Naughty 40 - but these days have long past.

For most clubs today it's just the chav wannabes these days who believe it 'ard to set on fans in colours with 10 of their mates.

Who on here has been to Ninian Park ??

Last time i went there was the year after we got relegated & we played them late on a Saturday afternoon ( 5 ish )..Unbelievebale Police Escort from the Station & they was throwing Bottles of p*ss & sh*t from Bridges at us & were throwing Darts through the Terrace netting when we were in the Ground ( i won't call it a Stadium )..

One of the most incredible aptmospheres i have ever encountered & the shere hatred towards the English ( & Cockney's that day ) made it 10 times worse/better..

I have. Went to a Cardiff Swansea derby with a Welsh friend, I guarantee the atmosphere was worse !! Also been to Swansea, those lot even hate themselves. Off topic I know.

Pure hatred that one..

But the aptmosphere is electric i would have thought..

I streamed the Leahue Cup Game earlier in the Season between them ( you can't say the Carling Cup was a nothing Competition that night ..:o )

I've been to West Ham Millwall Games at UP, the New Den & the Old Den, utter utter hatred & a rivalry that dates back to many's Grandfathers who used to have a turn out in the Docks..

Saying that though, the last few times we've played them, the OB have been so on top of things & hats off to them..

T*ttenham at the Lane is the one these days for West Ham & of course, a day out down the Kings Road with the other lot is always a lively affair..:D

Back in the days of the old Victoria Ground some of the atmospheres between Stoke and Millwall were very intimidating!

The rivalry was more to do with the firms that the teams! Both were up for proving who was the hardest and it ALWAYS kicked off big style pitch battles on the terraces included.

Then there was the Cardiff bus that was searched on the way to the Britannia in which they found a circular saw blade in one of the bags! :o

Yeah I have been to Cardiff...horible supporters.

here was an incident that made the national press about 10 years ago at Reading when they hauled a young girl steward into their crowd and beat her up.

Then there was another time when the ref wanted to call the game off because of a frozen pitch...The old bill would not let him do it as they were afraid of the carnage the cardiff supporters would inflict on the town before they caught their trains.

And whats with the stupid dance they do ...rubbing their bellies while hitting themselves on the head whilst jumping up and down????

No surprises with that one, Cardiff bloody awful place to go as an away fan. I have been with a couple of mates who are Cardiff fans as well, and even then as neutral felt uncomfortable just for not being Welsh. <deleted> ground as well. I think all that sheep shagging has regressed them somewhat.

Leeds, it's one league that they are always consistent in :o , and Millwall not a surprise. I'd like to see the figure posted as a ratio, in relation to average crowds.

There are a couple of teams who I thought might of sneaked in - Bristol City, Walsall, Derby, I am sure they may be in the top 20.

Oi Pauly, behave yourself :D .

Bristol Rovers have actually been very naughty in recent matches between us and is a fixture that the police don't relish at all. They seem to consider us to be far bigger rivals than we see it, we don't really consider them rivals as such, we just don't like them.

It's those bloody yellows that we hate, when are you lot gonna get yourselves sorted out so that we can get back to beating you twice a season again? :o

Somethings never change, I was there 25 years ago 11:00 early kick off due to the egg chasers playing. Had a few beers in their ''away fan freindly supporteres club'' Awful place but we won the match.

ditto. been to ninian park with a swans mate and was the worst match i've ever been to bar none. me having a non-welsh accent he told me to keep me gob shut, didn't matter a jot, still got variously covered in phlegm, glass, coins and at one memorable point, vomit. saw far worse than i've ever seen being away with liverpool, and i've also been away to cold blow lane with a palace mate. cardiff was appalling. elland road had nothing on it, leeds were amateurs in the aggro and revulsion stakes.
