On Wednesday Morning at the North Pattaya Bus Terminal operated by the Rungreun Tour Company, Khun Jiroot, the acting Director of the Chonburi Provincial Transport Department and a team of officials conducted a spot-check on coaches and their drivers in readiness for the busy New Year Period which will see many Thai’s travel back to their home towns and many coming into Pattaya to celebrate the Pattaya Countdown Festival which is well known amongst Thai’s around the Kingdom.

The Officials checked the coaches to ensure they were mechanically sound and also interviewed a number of drivers to ensure they were in good health and possessed the correct documentation to certify they are fit to drive the coaches.

Many passengers were reassured to see this spot-check and the department promised further checks in the run-up to the New Year Festive period as they strive to reduce road deaths around the Province.

Great action..........why not checked the '407' station or the NCA station........the buses from North usually only go to BKK and forth.
