Have used Dr. Jimmy since more than 8 years and have always been satisfied with him. He has a shop in Chaweng as well, opposite Focus supermarket, only open in the evenings though.

Had a problem with Supaporn, went to check prices at various locations, she gave the best price, made an appointment and when I sat in her chair, she raised the agreed upon price. Just walked out and straight back to dr. Jimmy.

i went to Dr Jimmy yesterday but he told me he doesn't do root canals. he referred me to a lady (forgot name) in samui inter hospital. she said, why not go to dr. deng in baan thai (ko phangan), more convenient. thing is, dr. deng is quite young and for a root canal i'd like to see someone a bit more experienced.

so i tried bkk-samui hospital. same thing, got a 25 year old lady dentist and a 850baht bill for an xray which put me off a bit.

so, i went to jai dee dental in nathon and saw the dentist there, an older guy, been in nathon forever i think. he said the whole proceedure will cost 11500 baht (cheap but that's not my main concern) and the new antibacterial medicine he uses only needs 2 visits, so i was impressed so i made an appointment for the treatment.

however, it would be nice to know if anyone has any experience with Jai Dee dental in nathon, its on the one way system just as you turn towards the beach from the lamai side.

he said it was quite deep and wanted me to see a specialist. but the dr. he referred me to couldn't be more than 25 years old, so how much of a specialist could she be?
