I am off to China for new Year and i have my visa and work permit in good order. I have to renew then next May.

I know that if i dont get a re-entry stamp in my passport my visa and work permit will be cancelled upon entering Thailand. I just wanted to know if it is possible to get this stamp at the airport or will i have to get it done at immigration? If i can get it at the airport then where is the counter and are there certain opening times?

Thanks

You can get it at the airport...........open 24/7. If you cant find an officer (probably sleeping) ask at Immigration counter.

Very important is that you can not obtain until after you check in for your flight and have your boarding pass so remember before you go into immigration area. The office is upstairs in Terminal 1 so plan to check in early if you get at airport. I advise getting at immigration when your time is not so critical and only use airport as a last resort for emergency type travel.
