Featured Replies

On Wednesday Afternoon at Pattaya City Hall, Khun Ronagit, Deputy Mayor of Pattaya and Khun Sukreep, the President of the Esarn Club of Pattaya held a press conference to announce the forthcoming Best of Esarn Festival 2008 which will take place between 20th and 21st December at Pattaya School Number 8.

The Festival will showcase the Esarn region of Thailand, located in the North-East of The Kingdom. Traditional Esarn Dancing and Music, a Som Tum competition and food for sale from this region of Thailand will feature in the two day event which is sure to prove popular as Pattaya is heavily populated with Thai’s originating from the Esarn Region.

For more information on the event please call the Pattaya City Call Center on 1337.

between 20th and 21st December

is that the 20 and a half of December then? :o

I saw the posters, a basket of sticky rice and som tam - I'm sure there are better Issan products that have greater appeal appeal in the Pattaya area - I just can't lay my hands on one right now.

I attended and it seemed noticeably less festive than in previous years. As usual, there wasn't much food on offer that didn't look downright scary.
