Looking For Condo Or House In Greater Bangkok

Featured Replies

I'm in the process of finding a job in or around Bangkok, but to find the right salary requirement i need to know how much living would cost on average.

I don't need something too fancy, so if someone can point me in the right direction, it'd be helpful.

I'm looking for a condo or house with 3 bedrooms, or 2 bedroom and 1 small office room, preferebly furnished. So far i've found a few (kkbkk.com) in the range of 20k-40k which is kinda high priced to my taste... i don't want half my money to go away to housing costs.

Also, how much should i expect to spend on air conditioning?

housing is the biggest single expenditure in the budget, so concentrating on finding something of good value is priority.

I have right now a recently refurbished 3 bedroom/2 bathrooms/2 air con, driveway, fully furnished, broadband internet and satelite television - for 10k/month. No conract - stay as short or as long as you need. It's in the suburbs of west bangkok. With a very moderate use of aircon expect at least 10k baht/year - now, winter times, you don't need it at all, you don't even need a fan.

AC costs depend on natural ventilation and how much you use it.

Say 1000-2000 baht a month in the hot months.
