Koh Chang Hotel Rates 1st Week Of January

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what type of occupancy rates the Koh Chang hotels in the White Sand Beach are experiencing now?

Any idea if they are holding on to their high season rates (2000 baht per night at Cookies and Alina resort), or offering rooms at discounted rates?

Thanks

Hotels arent full on White Sand beach right now but I'm sure they will be near enough 100% occupancy for the long weekend. Especially in the 2000 baht/night range which is what most Thai visitors will be looking at paying.

Wait till everyone goes home on 4/5 January then you'll be able to get a room much cheaper.

Thanks for the reply Changian. I'll wait until the weekend ends before visiting.

was just at alina grand,,, we had booked months ago. the place was full i believe and so were most of the places in white sand.

our room was 'sea view' at 2500 baht. ha ha ha, 'sea view', that was a joke of a description. you could barely see a sliver off water over one side of the shops across the street. wasnt very impressed with many aspects of the place, service, food, etc but thats veering off topic.

the van driver to trat airport seemed knowledgeable and said after about the 10th it will get empty and cheap again. he said many people had cancelled their trips here. but the beach was quite busy on new years.
