has anyone have any idea if there is a school in the buriram area that will teach thai to a teenage farang?this would be for 2 months on the australian school holidays.thanks.

I would suggest you would have more chance of getting private tutoring by a Thai English teacher wanting extra income IMHO

You do not say where in Buriram Province you are. good advice is to approach a local high school( Matayom),and ask if there is a Teacher who would like to teach a child, Thai, for 2 months. You might have a little problem, as they are approaching Final Year exams,generally held in February.

O.K., how did you get on?Find a teacher? , If not, schools start again next Monday.Go to a secondary school, known as Matayom in Thai, ask for the English Dept. staff room, try to see the Head of Dept., if you can,explain your situation to her and ask her if she can help you.Good Luck.
