Anyone see the story in the Bangkok Post last week where Taksin was proposing that the ASEAN countries could form a "Union' similiar to the European EU where a person who enters any one of the ASEAN countries on a visa would be able to travel to all the other member states without further visa requirement.  On the face of it a good idea, but what will this mean to the long term residents of these countries who go to the 'country next door' for visa runs.  This would mean that in order to renew a visa it would be necessary to travel much further afield, ie: Australia, Hong Kong, Japan etc for visas. Maybe it won't happen! ???

Nice idea by Mr. Thaksin, but it should take a coupls of more years. It took a long time within the EU and is not finalized, yet. Adjust all the immigration laws for each country within the ASEAN. If and when it is done, perhaps there will no more need for a visa-run.

Now a possible Asean Union along with the EU, UN, and North America is united under the Nafta agreement.  Cant anyone see that this is all proving true that nations of the world are involved in trying to form a globalist One-World government-New World Order??????  Please tell me that I am not the only one aware of this?
