December 28, 200421 yr My house insurance in Australia had a clause that said it was void if the house was left vacant for more than 6 weeks.
December 29, 200421 yr Give either Paul Chow at PCD Insurance a call. He is an insuranxe broker and has a good handle on what is required/available. Also you could try AA Condo's. I think the guy there is named Peter. I have numbers for both if you need them, but they both advertise pretty extensively in the local papers. Generally though, you will be expected to cover for fire and you can get insurance for theft of most of the items inside the condo. There are exceptions for laptop conputers etc, but they will both outline what you can get and how much.
