If the OP would be willing to widen his seach to couples of which only one of the partners is English, there are always a lot of recently formed half English couples to be found in the Soi Bangla, Patong area, in bars carrying names such as The Dogs <deleted>.

The Dog's <deleted> has gone, but, down Soi Seadragon there is a bar call The Mutt's Nuts. Could be Australian, though.

Both BB bar and Peppers are english style pubs on the way into Laguna, both do pub food.

Watermark has fallen out of favour since stopping the friday happy hour although the Italian has now reinstated it but the crowd mostly go to Spice island which is also in Boat Lagoon.
