Can anyone enlighten me if it is cheaper to book directly with the hotels in Hua Hin/Cha Am or are there good websites to go to for discount booking on the internet for a 7 -14 nights stay? Are there hotel taxes to pay in Thailand?

Hope someone can help.

Rule of thumb is its cheaper to book on line through agencies as they get discount for "quantity". Yes there are taxes to be paid but generally they are absorbed into the qouted price
