Trying to remember the name of a totally bizarre Japanese show that I caught a couple of times on UBC last year (possibly on the eXcite channel). It was on in the evening and had kids and adults giving some of the most surreal performances I've ever seen.

Anyone else watched it and know the name or have a copy of the True schedule to hand to check it out for me?

Cheers

I prefer the US dubbed version "MXC" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MXC

The dubbing is fully as hel_l.

I don't find the commentary on the UK version of Takeshi's Castle very funny at all.

Agree.

The dubbings make up 80% of the entertainment. I once sat through a SPIKE TV marathon of 8 of the shows in a row.

No, it's not Takeshi's Castle. It's a show that has weird acts such as people appearing to lose limbs or objects appear to move unassisted or fly but are actually being moved by people in tight suits that are the same colour as the background they are set against. I've found clips of it on youtube but still have no clue to what it's called.
