Giving Dutch Lessons And Inburgerings-examen Lessons In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Hey other forum-members,

Just wondering i'm from NL and i was wondering if there's a market for giving Dutch lessons and also help for the Basis Inburgerings examen etc in Bangkok?

I mean can the be a good business? Just wondering with this question in my mind.

Greetings,

Bart.

There is a Dutch guy doing exactly this, his school is in Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima province. Details you should be able to find over the internet.

Do you have the certificates to teach? You can't teach in Thailand anymore without having the right certificates. It is quite difficult to set up something in Thailand, you have to have a workpermit etc. will cost you around 100.000 Baht, do not work illegal in Thailand. I met a guy who taught Dutch in Bangkok, he worked at the same language school (I taught Italian there), he did not teach many hours, the market was too small and there are a couple of schools already where they teach Dutch and other languages. Maybe in another city or country where there is less competition. But it is a headache to set something up in Thailand, they do not want that a farang owns a company.
