Buying A Nouvo Mx With 45,000 Km

Featured Replies

Hi there,

found a 2-years-old Nouvo MX with 45,000km on the clock for sale at 17,000 bahts.

I am tempted as it looks in good condition but also wondering if 45,000km are not too much...

Do you folks think it is a good opportunity or is it a bit risky?

45000km is alot for a 2 year old bike.and remember once these automatics deteriorate they start costing big baht to repair.

for an extra 30,000 baht you can get a new one.alternatively look at a new honda wave 100 or 125,that has an automatic start as well as manuel, this kind of bike will last you many years, easy and cheap to maintain, cheaper on gas too.

Pass mate! 45,000 km for that price is far from a good deal. You can find bikes of the same year for much less mileage at a similar or slightly higher price. In the long run, it would be a much wiser investment.

can't help there but if do buy a nouva, replace pressure plate spring with a higher tension spring and hold on,passing all waves & click's going up hill was my buzz. :o

Its smi cheap but they wear out.. then again they can refurb the engine for a few 1000 anyway.. My missus has rentals and the MX's and waves are the preferred rental bike.

20 - 25k should get a low mileage one tho.. Probably worth spending the 5 or so more..
