Flying Car

Featured Replies

Bangkok should be the first place to get these.

This one is close - Terrafugia, but it's more of a small aircraft that can function on the road.

We need a true vehicle that is more nimble and can take off and land within a small area, like a helicopter, or like the forever in development Sky Car.

Like in the Man with the Golden Gun...

That is mint. Shame there won't be many places for you to take off and land.

Sounds great, accidents would be 3x or more as bad, killing not only the ones in the sky but the people on the ground under the accidents

Never be road-legal with no rear view and no (pun intended) wing mirrors.

is expected to land in showrooms in about 18 months' time.

That's what they said about jet packs in the seventies.

However, if it does materialize and you drove it over the border, would you qualify for a 15 or 30 day visa exemption?

If you drove it then it should be 15days :o

If you fly it then it should be 30days :D

The Sky Car is a vertical takeoff and landing vehicle. So, that means that you should be able to park it on your balcony, and go directly to your destination from there.

I say about 15 more years until the flying car is readily available.

There are now functional jetpacks and wings

Not in Tesco's there aren't.

I think Condor Man would be the first to say that flying cars are something everyone could use.

So now carnage on the roads AND in the sky!

Maybe they could incorporate a time machine too...

But this would probably be the end result...
