Can I fish off the beach anywhere on KPG?

I've never paid any attention on previous visits but am keen this time around.

If yes: where and what will I catch?

Only small fish off the beach, byoung, best place to fish is off the pier in Thong Sala at night, the lights attract squid and smaller fish. Or off the rocks at lighthouse, but that could be a tad risky.
