Wifi Update

i just tried my centrino notebook at Siam discovery somewhere near the apple mac shop....and its totally free internet i sat somewhere near the ASIA bookstore..so that they wont notice i stole their connection/...well give it a tryguys

Last time I took my pda there, there were two discoverable wifi networks. One had free access, the other didn't

The Thais are not very good on network security.

Take a cruise down any business area and you will be surprised what you

will find on the WiFi band.

My network is secured, I hope!!

Free wifi hotspot? Where else?

On Sukh. 2 the JW Marriot lobby is free WiFi theirs is a pretty speedy connection too.

There is also a free WiFi at Coffee Ben [or, is it Bean?] at the mouth of soi 8 on Sukh.

Siam Discovery hotspot is courtesy of the Mac store there- it's their intent to give it away. While just across from them is Starbucks, which operates a KSC WiFi Hotspot where you can buy a card with password to access their network. Most of the BKK Starbucks have the KSC Hotspot nowadays- I think.
