I used to like a wander around the night markets back on the mainland. Are there any around the Bangrak area ? I did notice there was one at the wat at the traffic lights for fisherman's village but it had closed. Only there for 3 days,Typical :o

Tonight Saturday, there is one 600/700 metres south of Tesco on the ring road. I don't how long it is there for, or when it started, but you can't miss it.

A poster mentioned it already. These are temple markets or similar, which lasts for appr. 10 days. On Samui the exhibitors are all the time the same. They move from one to the next one.

At bigger markets there is a place where the audience tries to hit a target with a small ball. If successful a simple device let a sitting girl next to the target fall into a water-butt.

That's the goal of this "game". I think the country of origin of that "game" is the U.S.
