Sorry, nothing here about tourist numbers or other bad things about Samui...

I had a bar of Safeguard soap in a dish by my bathroom sink. I stopped using it because I started to use the shower gel instead. Anyway, I've noticed what look like to be nibbles taken out of it like mice chewing on a cereal box but never really worried about it. Then the other day I walk into the bathroom catching this little gecko right in the middle of a mid-day snack and he freaked out trying to hide. I threw the bar away because I want those little guys to keep the bug population down instead of eating that soapy junk food.

So, has anyone else noticed something they have being unexpectedly eaten by the local wildlife?

I wondered for a long time what nibbled on my soap bar, I had assumed it to be some kind of mouse but never did find that mouse s..t.

So, the culprit is now evident.

I have had ants eat the insulating "green layer" from a motherboard on a computer.

The usual rat-mouse-ate-the-damned-speaker-cable stuff.

I saw a goat chewing on a beer can once.

Must have had better teeth than I.

Geckos ate all the soft rubber casings around the ignition switches on BBQ.

Nope never ever notice the soap thing, but those little rascals darn show leave some Gecko dropping around the house. Roger on the bug population, for sure that nasty old Mosquito :o:D
