george Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Civil Court orders seizures of Kamnan Poh's assets CHONBURI: -- The Civil Court Tuesday ordered the seizure of Bt11 million worth of assets of Somchai Khunplume or Kamnan Poh and his son, former Chon Buri MP Witthay Khunplume. The court ordered the seizure of 11 bank accounts of the two worth Bt11 million after the Supreme Court found Somchai, former mayor of Tambon Saensuk in Chon Buri guilty of corruption and sentenced him to five years and four months in jail. This is a good sign so lets hope the trend continues. ...and speaking about corruption, I wonder who would the least corrupt country in the world might be.. Changian Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 And Wittaya is Chairman of the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization. but when the family is worth well over 500 million baht,paying 11 million to get the courts off their back is a fair compromise.
