For anyone who's interested there is a stall inside Carrefour by the back doors that sell fresh roasted chestnuts and they are delicious :o

Chestnuts roasting on a hot mixer doesn't have the same ring about it. Still I'm sure they're delicious

Chinatown in Bkk is the place for them. 200 Baht a kilo "roasted" while you wait. :o

I think they are seasonal. Not always to be seen in Chinatown.

I used to see at the Mall, but it was not chestnut, smaller and slimmer one, what did they call I have no idea, tasted not bad and much cheaper than chestnuts. I do love to eat roasted chestnuts when it's really cold. :D It's been cold now with much snow here and no more roasted chestnuts on the streets :o
