Any rants or raves about this place (Sukhumvit Soi 18, Rembrandt Hotel, Level 1)? Heard it had a Cuban band. Thought it might be worth a look.

Never been there, i'll drop by there this week to have a look, the cuban band sounds fun. You know if they play every night or only on certain days ?

Buried somewhere deep in the different Mexican food threads are several posts on Senior Picos. The consensus is that the atmosphere and drinks are good but the food is lousy.

I also think it is a very weak attempt to bring some mexican style restaurant to Thailand.

But the main reason I never go back is the fact that the staff treated my fiance' (my wife) as a hooker.

Shameless behavour from the waitresses.

I had a talk later on with the Maitre D', informing her about this, and promised to never return.

I have kept that promise.

Wow - sorry to hear about that bad experience. No excuse for that kind of crappy behavior.

Looks like we would just go for drinks and to listen to the music/dance.
