UK government advises against travel to Bangkok, therefore all of Thailand as that is the gateway. I would imagine that other governments will quickly follow suit.

Also, the recent ASEAN attendees will advise against travel.

The Thai Tourism board will have a problem getting round individuals thoughts of " If our PM safety could not be guaranteed, what hope for me?"

Rubbish "free helicopter flights for all" will surely apply..........although maybe the same as what happened in Vietnam a few years back

I just checked USA www.state.gov for travel advisories. None for Thailand now.
