Hi, anyone know how long it will take for a package sent from Bkk via EMS to Kata?

Reading a recent post asking for advice on how long a small parcel sent by EMS from Bangkok to Phuket is likely to take, has prompted me to share this, though I know many will already be aware.

I have used FedEx in Phuket several times during the past year, for such things as sending one of my passports away for visas etc, always with excellent service. They guarantee to deliver anywhere in the world within 72 hours, and also collect from your home, plus you can track the progress of the delivery via their website.

A recent example was this week, when they collected a small parcel (envelope with home made DVD of my mother's recent holiday here) at 1100 on the 19th, and was delivered/signed for by her in the UK at 1500 on the 21st. Cost was 1050 baht.

last time I did it was before 1200 i bkk and next day before 1600 in Kata

Edit I think you can pay a few extra baht to get it within 24 hours
