look at the background when you decide on the shot, its as important as the subject

its not a great picture.... because the light is too high key and not interesting

Focus of background is a little off otherwise very nice flower, what is it call? Any Veggies in your Garden?

Probably I could not catch what I saw, the light on these flowers against the dark background of the other trees.

The photo was taken just before the sun went behind a mountain not far from us.

But I will try again!

My wife calls these flowers "lee-la-va-dee"!

Yes, we got veggies in another part of the garden that my wife takes care of.
