Scottish Man Lives In His Car For 4 Days Following Break-up With His Wife.

Scottish Man lives in his car for 4 days following break-up with his Wife.

On Friday Afternoon, Police and rescue workers were called to the front of the Poipet Market located in Soi Neun Plub Wan following reports of a foreign man who had been living inside his car at the location for 4 days. Local residents were concerned about his welfare and decided that Police and medical intervention was required. Rescue workers approached Mr. Joe White aged 55 from Scotland who initially refused to come out from his car. Foul odors emanating from the car suggested that he had used the Nissan NV car as a toilet during his 4 day stay at the location. Eventually he was dragged from the car and taken to Hospital. Local’s informed us that he had gone to the Chester’s Bar which is close to the Market where he asked staff members to assist him in locating his Wife who had apparently run off with their daughter to Loei Province in the North-East of Thailand. Contact was made with Mr. White’s wife, Khun Juraipon aged 35 who stated that the pair had agreed to sell their house and move to Loei Province. However Khun Juraipon and the child went first without Mr. White. On the phone she claimed that she had no intention of taking her Husband with them and wanted to end their relationship. Mr. White is now under observation in Hospital and receiving assistance from local British Embassy officials.

A sad case.

At least the Embassy were there to assist him, makes a change.

So she ran off with the money? The house sold already I assume.

Don't put anymore than you're prepared to lose into another person's name. However much I love some one or consider them by friends here I still stick by this rule.

I've known Joe for some years and to put one thing straight he is actually 45 and not 55 years old.

It is quite a sad story if you know it all and is really not quite the way that the media is portraying it.

I hope he gets better and then sees sense and goes back to the UK, he is still young enough to make his life straight again.

I sincerely wish the guy well and hope he can get some help.

Fareng Baa!

Just looks 55...a fat-ass drunken fareng wallowing in his own feces and urine...and people wonder why many Thais look down on foreigners.

Whatever his personal situation, doesn't he have any pride! If Thailand doesn't work out...return home and get your life back together <deleted>!

MJD, read my post, he may look 55, but he is 45.

PM me, lets meet and I'll explain why this guy got into trouble, otherwise do not comment unless you know the facts, thanks.

Marriage break ups can destroy the hardest of them. I hope he sorts himself out, I know what it feels like to have a family one minute and not the next, you just cant get your head around it.

I know Joe and this is a really sad case.

Actually, I agree. It sounds like the poor man needs help and sympathy which appears to be in short supply with some members of this board.

I hope he can get his life sorted out.
