Web Hosting In Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a Thailand related web site, since it is Thai related I need a Thailand based server and IP address for the hosting, this is good for SEO.

A google search for Thailand hosting shows many companies but most are just reselling hosting based in the US and elsewhere.

Can anyone recommend some Thai based hosting that doesnt cost a fortune. Ideally I would pay extra for a unique IP address for the site

Cheers

Whilst there is a certain element of truth in that statement, unless your target keywords are really competitive, then I don't think it would be worth the extra cost and pain of dealing with a Thai hosting company.

Did you know that if the domain name ends in .net or .com - you can tell Google via Webmaster Tools that Thailand is your target market ?

I do SEO and basic web services and I have done that in Webmaster Tools for a few countries where I have sites and it works well. For a web site of mine aimed at the Thai market, I setup a web server on a spare box that I had lying around and leave it permanently connected to my ADSL Thai Internet connection. Even with my pathetic MaxNet connection - the site ranks well.

Hope that helps :)

I helped that guy on his webpage: http://www.divechumphon.com

And it is hosted in Thailand and it seemed to work fine when I helped building it. Maybe you send him an email or a PM to me (and I an email to him)

I have no idea how good they are.

I have one site with them - they're not bad, and quite cheap, but their English-language support is lacking. If you don't need support, and you don't mind Plesk instead of cpanel, then this is a good choice.

I host my website with awebonline.com as they were recommended to me by a friend. After using different hosts for the last 11 years I have to say their service and control panel is by far the best.
