Caught-on-tape, Motorbike Theft At Local Media Company Office.

Motorbike theft is an all-too-common crime here in Pattaya and in the nearly hours of Monday Morning, a motorbike was stolen from the local Thai Channel 9 Office located in Soi Town-in-Town Hotel, Central Pattaya. The office is covered by Closed Circuit TV cameras and the theft was captured on film. A Thai Man, wearing a safety helmet coolly approached the bike, a Yamaha Mio, at 4.12am in full view of the camera. Footage from a camera situated at the 7-11 Convenience Store located at the front of the Soi also picked-up the bike which was being driven by a female accomplice towards the Sukumvit Road as the male suspect on a further bike helped the powerless bike along the road. A report of the incident has been lodged with Pattaya Police Station who will add the case files to their ever increasing stack of unsolved motorbike theft cases they are dealing with at this time.
