Featured Replies

In the early hours of Thursday, Police Colonel Nopadon, the Chief of Chonburi District Police was called to a rented room in Baan Suan sub-district to investigate an apparent murder. Inside the room was the body of Khun Santi aged 37, the Son of a Judge from Chachensow Province. He had sustained serious head trauma and multiple stab wounds. The suspected killers were the victims Wife and Brother-in-Law. Khun Lertmanichat aged 30 is the wife of the victim and she was staying at the room following a bust-up with Khun Santi earlier in the night at their family house located nearby. She claims that Khun Santi would hit her on a regular basis and this was just another of their fights. Khun Santi refused to accept that his wife would be staying at the room for the night and soon arrived, armed with a gun and plank of wood. He gained entry to the room by smashing a back door. Also inside the room was Khun Supatgasaem aged 25, the brother-in-law, who attempted to fight Khun Santi. Khun Lertmanichat joined in and Khun Santi was then overpowered and stabbed repeatedly and hit with the plank of wood. Both suspected attackers were taken into custody pending further enquiries into this apparent murder.
