That is an awesome shot. I would have loved to have been there. I don't think it needs to be so dark though.

Only comment (constructive I hope) is to watch the horizon lines - try to avoid the middle of the frame.

Agree -- rule of thirds.

Longer exposure might provide a bit more contrast.

That is an awesome shot. I would have loved to have been there. I don't think it needs to be so dark though.

This was just before the sunrise, it was dark and that is how I remember it (and my camera) so I don´t want to change that too much!

1/40 sec, with longer time the guys would move. The other thing is that at that time of year, January, it is smoky all around SE Asia. Even so in Phu Chi Fah, so longer exposure would not help.

I have tried B&W but did not work in my eyes!
