Is this a realistic price?

Depends on whether it's his money or yours i would say.

It's a 50/50 share, but my main point is about possibly known technical issues and if the price is justified.

My son is just close to 15yo so I still have to have the last word, yet I don't want to block him from buying it if it can be regarded as 'value for money' purchase.

My wife has one it is pretty good, up till now did not freeze or hang up just by itself,

if you are playing with pictures, and you turn it fast back and forth it freezes but i mean like vertical horizental vertical 3 ties. fast.

other than this my one and half yeat daughter had dropped it in a puddle of water, spilled juice on it, and did throw it several times. it is working fine. but my wife lost the pen, but it comes with an extra one so no problem
