Depends on the wether you need a hotel stay like most airlines do now between Australia and Thailand, Thai flys direct so no need for the hotel.

Is that the end price ? including Tax ?

Different airlines pay different taxes so if the price is without tax then check the tax

Is this the Singapore Airlines current sale fare? It could be about the best price now available (if flying from Thailand, not the other way around). I did a quick comparison with a few others yesterday.
