Police Clearence Check For Oz Visa

Featured Replies

You need to go to Thai Police HQ on Rama1. Next door to the Police Hospital just after where Sukhumvit becomes Rama 1. The section you need is at the back of the complex. Your wife will need 2 photos, ID card, thai passport and house papers. We took the original house book along , i dont know if a photocopy is acceptable. Its free and takes about 2 weeks.

remember if you return to LOS on 309 provisional spouse visa you will need another police clearance (for Oz anyway).

Do this very close to your return date and the police will send the clearance to you in Oz, this costs money but is the only way to do it.

Thanks! We went today, no problems. I called the embassy before starting this thread and they didn't tell me, they said 'look on the website', but I couldn't see it. They didn't give us any info at the time of applying either, so I finally got through to another operator, who helped me.

As cobber said, Rama 1 Rd (parham 1) Royal Thai Police Headquarters, in between

Sukumvit & Siam square and around the corner from world trade.

Make sure to take originals & copies of family book, birth cert & ID card. Take Thai passport.

The embassy used to give you some papers containing an introduction and some instructions, a little out of date but it did have the address and Grace's monica on the bottom
