Quick tip: From Suvarnabhumi Airport take the free shuttle bus to Eastern Bus Terminal. Then take a bus into town (#552), or depending on the traffic, get off at On Nut, the first stop on Skytrain. Assuming you're travelling light. The train is slated to connect to the Airport later this year, but don't hold your breath.

Is this correct?

Any more info?

cheers :)

Is this an ordinary public bus or is there room for luggage? Whenever I see a Bangkok bus, I always think they look unbearable..

It is an air con public bus good thing is when you catch it from the airport its empty.

I have got on with 1 biggish suitcase and back pack.

It stops right at ON Nut Sky train

You do not have to go to the Transportation Centre. Minivans to town, via Bang Na Trat highway and On Nut BTS, stop at the airport - same level as all the other buses but go out the door and keep going right until you see a load of Thais and no falangs queing at a bus stop. But I don't recommend the minivans for really heavy luggage (and this info is one year old also, so location may be different now)

Its turn left now as you go out of the door at the very bottom floor of the airport, and walk to the end opposite the exit from the canteen. Other destinations too e.g. Don Muang. Price around 40 baht depending on destination. OK if you just have a small size backpack, hang luggage size, not big cases. These minivans actually start at the Transportaion center and pick up at the airport so you can get them both places.
