Yes I've stayed there before.I took the family bungalow right next to the beach.Think it was 5000 baht a night but in the low season.

Its just a small resort and very friendly staff.Thai food there very tasty but dont bother with the complimentary American breakfast.The breakfast buffet at the Amari a couple of doors down was the business.I also stayed in a villa at the Amari for I think 6,000bht. Palm island was far better value for money.
