Abhisit has had to walk a tightrope during his time in office. He has already lasted a heck of a lot longer than the naysayers said he would.

His restraint during Black Songkran was a truly brilliant political victory. But now that we are in the POST THAKSIN years, Thaksin is a loose cannon, literally, as he is truly and legitimately DESPERATE. In this light, it is heartening that Abhisit has beefed up his resolve to resist these proven violent pro Thaksin revolutionaries. You can't negotiate with Thaksin, not anymore anyway, it is time to show some FIRMNESS. And that is exactly what is happening now.

I say BRAVO. Don't allow a repeat of the madness of Black Songkran ever again. Nip it in the bud. A strong response is completely JUSTIFIED.

:)

Jingthing, while I know your enthusiasm for all things political, I think its better to post in news. If you want to post a legitimate news article that is not already covered by the myriad of threads in news, then please do so and contact someone to have it moved into News.
