The statue itself is played down quite a bit in this composition, more due to the lighting. That said, the shot itself is very dramatic and almost (or is it?) has the tone feel of HDR. Strong foreground, beautiful reflections, great color rendering and good contrast. Was this taken about 6:00 in the evening?

as usual you can not decide wether the subject is something on a plate or a turgid sky scape, the idea of a godess being involved in this image has nothing to do with anything..... 1 out of 10

On the one hand, the colors and contrast you captured are superb.

I do have a question...and it is not a criticism...it is just a question. What to you does the photo say? What is its purpose?

I think excellent. However for me, the detailed foreground (restaurant tables) competes/dominates with everything else. Mind you, that foreground is also a great pic. Two photos?

Ah, that's what I meant with my question.

IMHO the technical skills are good (eg. sharpness, colours, lighting) but the artistic side is lacking.

I'm not sure what I should be looking at as different parts fight for my attention. Also, the sky is too big if you want me to focus on the non-sky parts.

If my focus should be on the statue you might want to have considered something similar to the crop I have included.
