I agree with IT crowd excellent also a scottish comedy called "Still Game" is one of the best i have seen, it's about a group of pensioners I highly recommend it !!

It hasn't got a mention, yet it must be the greatest analysis in comedy format of the British people in the last 15 years: 'Monkey Dust'.

It was on BBC3 for several seasons until the creator died. It won vast numbers of awards and gained a cult following for the way it dissected in a cartoon aniamtion format the msot pressing and awkward issues of the day.

There was for example the inept paedophile sketch, the always failing Muslim bomber with the Brummy accent, the boring accountant reciting movie plots to his wife to escape his drab (i.e. British) life, the middle class post modernist lefties... and so on. Astonishing. Goes well with 'Brass Eye'.

Happened to see 2 seasons of the series Gavin & Stacy.

Really liked it.

Very funny.

Too bad, as far as I understand, they will only make a 3rd season and then stop.

Absolutely Fabulous

If anyone is interested in an exchange of DVD's I'm very interested, some of the series mentioned here are superb - although not comedy I'm keen to get my hands on Spooks.
