Remove Scratches From Floor Tiles?

I have some smooth, very shiny floor tiles with light scratches. Will car rubbing compound remove the scratches? Something else? Thanks.

I have the same problem and have simply polished the floor with wax.

Anything you do will only be temporary as the scratches are permanent of course.

Question - are the tiles homogeneous, or just surface colored?

If homogeneous, you can engage a stone polishing contractor to grind smooth the surface and put on a coat of wax. Similar to treatment of old marble and granite flooring.

If just surface colored, change the tiles.
