Bike Tweaks (nuovo 135)

Featured Replies

Just bought a new one of these and wondered if anyone knows if there are any upgrades (bore kit / exahust mod etc) to squeeze a few more horses out of it ?

Pretty happy with the bike but a bit more horsepower / torque for getting up hills would help ( I weigh 100 KG).

I'm sure the 115 nuovos I've rented out seemed faster than mine, maybe it just needs run in ?

A 135 should be much more powerful then a rental nuovo MX.. So maybe yes it needs to loosen.

I know a thai tin shack mechanic who does hot rodding to scoots.. If there is a bore (and I would expect there to be) he would know.

Very lazy first 1000 km, then you get the power released and much faster than 115 MX. Especially with load.

My neighbor did a big bore/carb/exhaust job on his first Nuovo 115, like 5 years ago. Disaster with the auto, cause lost low end tourque. Couldtn go up the hills with 160 kg. Had to change it back to near original

Thanks for the advice. Will just wait and run it in, hopefully it will be fine.

Don't forget to change the oil frequently.

As your bike is new, the oil will have all those micro-flakes of metal from the engine.

Mine's 14 months old and has just gone over the 1,000 km mark. How lazy is that! :)
