Hi.

Sorry for digging out an old topic, i got here by googling for "Thai2English Linux". I have an open topic in the "Linux in Thailand" sub-forum but seeing that the author of the software in question is active here just made me wish to ask my question here.

So i have just found Thai2English last week, tested it a couple of days, loved it and bought the registration key. This way i can also use it offline for example on the laptop to decypher the names of artists in Thai mp3 files :)

Anyway, my problem is that i am running Linux (Ubuntu 9.04) on all of my computers and as of yet am only able to use Thai2English by starting VMware and booting a virtualized Windows XP. Which obviously is a bit of a headache even though it works fine.

So here my question. Will there be a version of Thai2English that can run straight on Linux?

Because even as i managed to successfully install Microsoft .net 2.0 in Wine and Thai2English after that, it still won't run.

Kind regards......
