I use B5 in my D max for almost 2 years now. It runs good and I do not know of any issue. Just had a major service done and no visible issues and the technicians comment about anything unusual.

I had the same question but regarding my Chevrolet.

A simple email to Chevrolet Thailand gave me the answer "Yes it is ok to use B5" they replied both via Email and an english speaking lady on telephone!

I´m saving that mail.

So why not try that, ask the source.

B5 is generally accepted as being acceptable in all engines, although some manufacturers still won't honour warranties on the fuel system if bio has been used :)

Talk to your local Ford outlet. We got a categoric yes for our 2006 Ranger (with the newer duratorque common-rail engine).
