Bangkok Nature Resort

Does anybody know of a place within an hour or so of Bangkok where I can rent a very private resort room or bungalow in nature for a couple of days. I can do luxury or simple, price doesn't either way too much. Kanchanaburi and Samet are a bit further than I feel like traveling.

Plenty of choice in Cha-am, 2 hours by minivan from Victory Monument. You could check Alila (top range), or Thai Bamboo Resort, more affordable (see thai-bamboo.eu), which is a resort with private bungalows in the countryside.

LOL...may take an hour just to traverse Bangkok...

Nature need not mean seaside. You can search for some chalets at Khao Yai, the forest reserve. An hour's drive from Rangsit, outskirt of Bangkok.
